Plans for the BBQ include:

• Remarks by Head Coach Mel Tucker at about 4 p.m.

• Dinner by Saddleback BBQ (regarded as one of the team’s favorites) 

• DCC members will sit and eat next to 2023 Spartan Football players & staff

• Silent Auction for some awesome Spartan memorabilia (donated by the estate of long-time Club member Jan Holcomb) with proceeds supporting Spartan Football players.

Note: This event is a chance to meet and mingle with the team before they start Fall Camp, so opportunities for photos and autographs will be limited if available.

SEATING IS LIMITED & THIS EVENT IS EXPECTED TO SELL OUT

The cost to attend is $30 for any remaining tickets. This is a MEMBERS-ONLY event, so to purchase a ticket and attend, you will need to pay for your 2023 membership. We’ve set up the registration portal so that when you register for your 2023 membership, you will select whether you will attend the BBQ and can then pay for everything at once. To register:

• click on one of the In-Person Membership options (Individual or Family), and

• then select "Ticket for Pre-Season BBQ."

 

Parking

• Paid parking is available on campus for $2/hour (Visitor Parking).

• Suggested parking is located across the street at Spartan Stadium (Lot 79 Google Maps).

• You will enter via the practice field (on the east side of the building). The gate facing Shaw lane will be open and board members will be standing near signs to help direct you in.

 

Dinner

Dinner is part of the price of the ticket, and includes an entree, a side, and a drink (pop or water).
